Charles A. "Chip" Reinhardt, Jr. was born on April 2, 1953 and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, but moved to Durham in 1976. He holds a double major B.A. degree from Erskine College (1974), and a J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law (1976). He is licensed to practice law both in North Carolina and in Florida (inactive status), and has been a North Carolina State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law since 1993. He has been closing residential and commercial real estate transactions in the Triangle area for over thirty years, and also does a considerable amount of property tax foreclosure work for the City and County of Durham. Chip is married to the former Cathy Yantz, and they have four children and three grandchildren!  Chip, an Eagle Scout himself, has been actively involved with the Boy Scout program as an adult leader since 1982.  He currently serves Scouting as the Chartered Organization Representative for Cub Scout Pack 451 and Boy Scout Troop 451, and is proudly listed on the NC Scouting Attorneys website.  Chip is also the administrative leader of Girl Scout Troop 1806.  Chip is an elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church, and annually teaches religious award classes to Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.  Outside of these activities, he is the firm’s managing partner, and maintains the firm’s web site.  He is also a licensed amateur "ham" radio operator and especially enjoys camping, backpacking, reading and just taking it easy in his spare time.

An Important Word About The Attorney-Client Relationship:   No attorney-client relationship exists between our firm and any visitors to this site until a visitor establishes personal contact with a firm attorney AND the firm attorney and the potential client both agree to establish an attorney-client relationship AFTER this personal contact.  Although we welcome e-mail from prospective clients, the sending of an e-mail to one of our attorneys does NOT create an attorney-client relationship.  Anyone sending us e-mail should provide their real name, address, phone number and correct return e-mail address, plus a brief description of the case and the name of the potential adversary party.
